Eve Rixford

Eve Rixford, 84, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.Eve was born on October 18, 1933, in Stanley, WI to Alex and Eva (Rogulski) Langiewicz. She was a graduate of Thorp High School. On March 4, 1957, Eve married Howard in Thorp WI. Eve was a wonderful homemaker taking care of her family and home with passion, humor and a lot of spirit. Eve loved gardening, always had the most beautiful flowers. She loved taking pictures of her flowers and sharing them with others. You could always find her outside working on her lawn and watching all the birds. She enjoyed baking for everyone, especially for her children and grand children whom she loved very much. We will remember her cup cakes, breads and chocolate chip cookies.Eve is survived by her daughter, Eva (Robert) Nechodomu of Howards Grove; two sons, Keith (Laura) Rixford of Sheboygan Falls, Robert (Anna Marie) Rixford of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren, Jammie-Lynn (Jason Baldridge) Rixford, Matthew (Nicole) Nechodomu, Adam (Kayla) Nechodomu, Missy Rixford, Mandi (John) Kummer Rixford, Sam Rixford, Ava Rixford; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie, Taylynn,and Jace; three sisters, Joan and (Roger Frese), Audrey Peterson, Henrietta Harder; brother, Rich (Bunny) Langiewicz and many nieces and nephews. Eve was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Eva Langiewicz; husband, Howard Edward Rixford, Jr.; son, Jeffrey Lee Rixford; granddaughter, Jessica Rixford, three brothers; Alex, Adam, and Willie; three sisters, Delores, Leona, and Clarice.A memorial service to celebrate Eve's life will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 4:00 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls.Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm.
