Jeffrey Voskuil

April 9, 1951 — March 31, 2018

Jeffrey K. Voskuil, Oostburg, was greeted by his loving mother, Marjorie, father, Floyd, fathers-in-law, James Fleming and Jim Ruh in heaven on March 31, 2018. Jeff was born on April 9, 1951 in Sheboygan to Floyd and Margorie Voskuil. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1969. He then proudly served his country in the U.S Navy aboard the USS Mount Hood in Vietnam from 1971 to 1973.On July 21, 1973 he married the love of his life, Joanne Fleming in Sheboygan Falls to whom he shared an exceptional bond and partnership from which they built a loving home and family.Jeff attained his journeyman millwright certification through Lakeshore Technical College.  He worked as a machine assembler at Wil-Pemco in Sheboygan for 22 years before his retirement in 2017. Jeff was a devout member of Gibbsville Reformed Church for over 40 years, where he served as an elder, and attended bible study.  Jeff was a very loving, caring man with an addictive laugh and personality. He had a strong passion for family, as his fatherly love and compassion extended well beyond the realm of his own immediate family.  Jeff's love of his family and the outdoors led him to many adventures he shared with his boys.Jeff had many hobbies that he was passionate about. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, golfing, watching his boys play softball, archery, going upnorth, and so many others. Jeff was also a member of the NRA.Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Joanne, children, Josh (Cathleen) Voskuil of Oosburg, Jerod (Elizabeth) Voskuil of Sheboygan Falls, Jorden Voskuil of New Castle, Colorado, and Justin (Danielle) Voskuil of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tyler Wegner, Breanna, Alex, Lydia, Jonah, Joslin, Noah and Maci Voskuil; one sister, Pat (John) Boge of Sheboygan Falls; three brothers Mike (Diane) Voskuil of Howards Grove, Greg (Kathy) Voskuil of Glenbeulah, and Brad (Sharon) Voskuil of Sheboygan Falls. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Dorothy Ruh of Sheboygan Falls, and the entire Fleming family.  A memorial service to celebrate Jeff's life will take place at Gibbsville Reformed Church on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Krueger officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at Breaking Bread Banquet Hall immediately following the service.
