Obituary for Judith N. Coppinger

Judith N. (Nusslock) Coppinger, 74, of Kohler, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI.

Jude was born to Oliver and Shirley (Carson) Nusslock on September 11, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated with her Masters of Education from University of Wisconsin Whitewater and was a dedicated teacher for over 25 years.

Jude was a beautiful woman whose smile and spirit glowed with radiance. She believed strongly in the Divine and was always filled with grace and love. Everyone adored Jude because she was forever so gracious and giving. It was the simple things around her in life that she never took for granted, commenting often how fortunate and thankful she was. Above all, Jude was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Jude was a wife who respected and loved her husband. She was a mother who perceived her children with a loving grace and had a deep and enduring connection with both of them. She was a Grandmother who adored spending time with her grandchildren, proudly watching her grandsons’ sports, and even reading books aloud with her granddaughter from San Francisco through Facetime.

Jude was a cherished, extraordinary friend of many, always taking the opportunity to honor each person’s gifts. She was a very spiritual woman, believing in the power and strength of God, the beauty and peace of nature, and energy healing of the spirit.

Jude is survived by her husband, Bill Coppinger of Kohler; one daughter, Christina (Mazdan) Kattuah of San Francisco; one son, Chip (Ann) Pieper of Whitefish Bay; three grandchildren, Max Pieper, Colton Pieper, Shirley Kattuah, and other beloved relatives and friends.

The family is very grateful to the Aurora Grafton Cancer Center Medical Staff, the Aurora Grafton Hospital, and the caring staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

No services will be held. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to a favorite charity of choice.
