Maxine Witt

Maxine J. Witt, 80, of Sheboygan, formerly of Waldo, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center.Maxine was born on July 21, 1937, in St. Louis, MO to Lester and Bertha (Babler) Pratt. She attended Whitewater High School.On May 7, 1955, Maxine married Robert W. Witt. Robert preceded Maxine in death on January 17, 1997. She enjoyed reading, embroidering and crocheting, listening to country music, baking, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.Maxine is survived by her four children, Carmella (Thomas) Mentink, Laurel Villarreal, Brian Witt, and Cheryl Witt; nine Grandchildren, Nicole Honeysett, Dustin Honeysett, Ethan Villarreal, Dylan Villarreal, Cruz Villarreal, Meghann Witt, Zachary Witt, Brandon Loehr, and Alycia Loehr; eight great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild and one great-grandchild due on July 20th. She is further survived by a sister in law, Shirley Witt; three nephews; and one great-nephew. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Witt; her parents, Lester & Bertha Pratt; parents-in-law, Rueben & Amanda Witt; and a brother-in-law, Vern Witt. A memorial service to celebrate Maxine's life will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls at 4:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Tripp officiating. An inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.Relatives and friends may greet the family at Wenig Funeral Homes in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm.
