Sharon Marion Haas, 78, of Cedar Grove, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.Sharon was born on December 12, 1940, in Aurora, IL to Edward and Marion (Pezan) Savana. She was a 1959 graduate of Pope Pius High School in West Allis. On September 23, 1961, Sharon married Harold E. Haas in Thiensville, WI. Harold preceded Sharon in death on March 28, 2006. Sharon worked at St. Alophonsus Hospital in Port Washington and later at St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon as a housekeeper. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved sewing, crocheting/knitting, and gardening. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Randy) Gasser; three sons, Harold (Michele) Haas Jr., Timothy Haas, and Christopher Haas; eight grandchildren, Kayla Haas, Kelsey (Ryan) Bingham, Tiffany Haas, Brianna Haas, Tyler Haas, Jarret Gasser, Hailee Gasser, Emma Haas; two great-grandchildren, Ryker Bingham, Grayson Bingham; three sisters, Audrey (Jerry) Pintor, Joyce Koss, Marianne Delaney; step-brother, Ralph (Sharon) Pezan; and her loyal companion; Miley.Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Edward Savana; and a grandson, Joshua Haas. A private funeral service will be held. Burial will take place at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society in Sharon's name.
