Alice Lomatsch

Alice Lomatsch, 96, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Pine Haven Christian Communities – Haven Drive.

Alice was born on September 22, 1926, to Arthur and Florence (St. John) Wicke in Westboro, WI. She graduated from Westboro Grade School.

Alice was united in marriage to Charles Henry Lomatsch on December 28, 1946, in Medford. He preceded her in death in December of 1990.

She was employed at Ongna Wood Products for over 25 years, retiring in 1997. Alice was a devoted member of Hope Community Church.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Lance) Hacker of Sheboygan Falls; sons, Charles “Terry” Lomatsch of Mequon and Tracy “TJay” (Kirt Brown) Lomatsch of Mequon; son-in-law, Eddie Kautzer of Sheboygan; 11 grandchildren, Lisa (Jim) Feyereisen, Jeff (Karen) Adams, Lena Hacker, Sellece Bates, Nadina Bates, Amy (Rob) VerVelde, Tiffany (Brian) Ter Maat, Lance (Debbie) Hacker, Derrick (Davina) Bates, Lorne Hacker, Brandy Bates; 28 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Rose Noller; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughter, Lanette Bates-Kautzer; parents; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Alice’s life will be held at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 1:00pm. Burial will take place at Hingham Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may greet the family from 11:00am until the time of service.
