Amanda Alma Lohse

Amanda Alma Lohse, age 99, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 10, 2026, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Amanda was born on November 5, 1926, in Osceola, Wisconsin, to the late Frank and Lorena (Heider) Kutz.

On June 21, 1944, Amanda was united in marriage to Henry Lohse in Wayne, Wisconsin.

Amanda enjoyed bowling throughout her life, miniature bowling in her younger years, and later Wii bowling at Sheboygan Senior Community. She loved arts and crafts, especially beading calendars, and was an avid reader. She delighted in watching Western films and looked forward to visits from an Elvis impersonator at the nursing home. She never missed her soap operas, which she fondly called her "stories," and enjoyed canning, playing solitaire, and watching the birds at her feeders.

Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lorena (Heider) Kutz; her husband, Henry Lohse; her siblings, Frank, Sylvester, and Wilbert Kutz, Adeline (Kutz) Bath, and Irene (Kutz) Lauters; her son, Robert Lohse; her daughter Mary Noonan; and her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Lester Pierce and daughter in law, Debra Lohse.

She is survived by her sons, Randy (Lana) Lohse of Kiel, WI, Raymond Lohse of Sheboygan, WI, and Ronald (Barbara) Lohse of Sheboygan, WI; her daughters, Patricia (Dale) Te Stroete of Sheboygan, WI and Barbara Lohse of Sheboygan, WI; 24 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sheboygan Senior Community for their compassionate care of Amanda.
