Andrew Lorenz

Andrew Theodore Lorenz, 92, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth.Andrew was born on March 20, 1926, in Town of Lima, WI to Frank and Lillian (Walsh) Lorenz. He was attended school in the Town of Lima. Andrew served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. Andrew worked on his family farm, Lorenz Bros. Farm, for his entire life. Additionally, he and his brothers owned a trucking company and later drove for Kool Kitchen Gas Company, Northern Propane, Buckeye Gas, and Ferrellgas. He was a faithful member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors and old cars, attending farm shows, playing softball for 5 Corners Tap, and was an active 4-H supporter. Above all, Andrew loved and cared for his family and was always there for anything you needed. Andrew is survived by two sisters-in-law, Virginia Lorenz of Sheboygan Falls, Ceil Lorenz of Sheboygan Falls; and a brother-in-law, Alvin Steinke of Plymouth. Andrew is further survived by many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lillian Lorenz; three sisters, Madeline (Art) Zimmerman, Grace Lorenz, Joan Steinke; five brothers, Francis (Dorothy) Lorenz, Eugene Lorenz, Jack Lorenz, Richard Lorenz, Philip (Shirley) Lorenz; three nephews, Gary Lorenz, Mark Lorenz, Todd Lorenz.A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Andrew's life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 11:30 a.m at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. The burial will take place at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in the Town of Lima with Military Honors. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church on Saturday from 9:30 until the time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.For online condolences and additional information please visit www.wenigfh.com.
