Barbara Dickman

Barbara A. Dickman, 80, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, with family by her side on June 28, 2023. 

She was born April 14, 1943, to the late Edwin and Mary (Husting) Schug, in Manitowoc, WI. 

Barb was employed as a line operator at Bemis for 17 years. She later worked at The Sewing Machine Shop, from 2004 to 2017 before retiring. She was a member of Blessed Trinity in Sheboygan Falls. Barbara was also a proud member of the Sheboygan County Quilt Guild. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, camping with family and friends, and attending family reunions. Most of all, Barb loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert; children, Bob (Juli) Dickman of Green Bay WI, Ben (Mary Burri) Dickman of Plymouth WI, Brenda (Darryl) Ottman of Sheboygan Falls; grandchildren, Clayton Ottman, Jessica Dickman, Morgan (Mickey) Moore, Megan Dickman, Gabby Dickman, Vicki (Scott) St Pierre, Vincent (Jody) Burri.  Barb is further survived by her brother, Lonny Schug; sisters, Patricia (Leonard) Rosenwald, Sandra Siefert; sister-in-law, Irene Rhines; and many nieces and nephews.  

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters-in-law; Janet Schug, Elvira (Robert) Duffek, Ken Rhines and Allen Siefert. She was further preceded in death by many nieces and nephews.  

A memorial service to celebrate Barbs’ life will take place July 24, 2023, at 5:00pm at Wenig Funeral Home, (711 Broadway Street) Sheboygan Falls, WI. 

Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home from 3:00pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Hope Clinic at Froedtert Cancer Center for their outstanding care and compassion.
