Barbara Ingelse

Barbara Ingelse, age 77, loving wife of Chuck Ingelse for 55 years, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay on August 27, 2023. Her other love was her fur baby, Wally. She taught Spanish and British Literature at Oostburg High School until 1999. Making a difference in a student’s life truly made her proud.

Barb did not wish to have a memorial service. Please remember her by doing some of the things she enjoyed.

Spend true quality time with your pets. If you have a dog, take them for a nice long walk. Give them special treats and share an extra cheese and cracker with them.

Take some time to learn about the world around you. Perhaps learn another language, take an interest in current events or make a positive difference in your neighborhood. Enjoy the deer and birds that grace your yard.

Enjoy a good book. Each one gives you a chance to learn about a culture, travel the world, or open doors to new interests.

Cherish family time together. It doesn’t need to be fancy, but make every minute count. Share the stories. Enjoy the silly pictures. Embrace the good qualities of every person.

Barb’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent and Unity Hospice for the wonderful care she received. They are a true credit to their profession.
