Barbara Zander

Barbara Zander (nee Taylor), 90, formerly of Wauwatosa and Cedar Grove, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 13, 2021 at Cedar Grove Gardens.

Barbara was born November 29, 1930 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Earl and Evelyn (nee Boorse) Taylor. She graduated from Wauwatosa High School, and went on to study at Beloit College. On July 18, 1953, she was united in marriage with Arthur G. Zander. He preceded her in death in 2007 after 54 years of marriage.

Barbara enjoyed being part of book club, and socializing with a group of friends that met for lunch.

Barbara is survived by her children, Kay Nysse of Sky Valley, CA and James Zander of Glenbeulah; grandchildren Ben (Kristen) Nysse and Alicia Nysse; great-grandchildren Aubrey, Hannah and Connor; brother Charles (Barbara) Taylor of New Berlin; other relatives and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur and son-in-law Lloyd Nysse.

A private family memorial service will be held at Oostburg Cemetery.
