b. August 13, 1927

Betty J. Baulch, 89, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017, at Pine Haven Covenant Home. Betty was born on August 13, 1927, in Sheboygan, daughter of Ruben and Meta (Metzner) Van Calligan. She attended Sheboygan Falls High School. She married Arthur J. Rosenthal Jr. on August 24, 1946 in Sheboygan Falls. On July 20, 1968, she married Frederick D. "Danny" Baulch in Manitowoc. Danny passed away on May 17, 2001. Betty was employed at Spiller Springs for ten years and at Depke Shoe Store for ten years until her retirement in 1989. Betty was a member of Our Shepherd UCC in Howards Grove. She enjoyed bowling, card playing, going out to eat and casino trips. Betty is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Larry) Keslin of Howards Grove; one granddaughter, Becky Eckhardt; Larry's children, Scot and Lisa Keslin; one step-son, Melvin (Maureen) Baulch of Kohler and his children, Dan, Collin and Penny; one brother-in-law, Mick (Joy) Baulch of England; and a special niece, Judy Crist; special close friends, Bev and Dan Van Engen; and her Friday night girls, Betty and Lorraine. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 1st and 2nd husbands, Artie and Danny; her son, Larry Rosenthal; and her sister, Shirley (Harold) Jansen. Betty's wishes were not to have any visitation or services. She will be inurned at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan. A memorial fund has been established in Betty's name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center.
