Carl Berlin, affectionately known as "Weiner," was born on May 22, 1950, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the middle of three sons born to Carl F. and Lydia (Klauser) Berlin. He graduated from Kohler High School in 1968 and began his career with the Kohler Company shortly thereafter.
Carl was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Brian (Jamie) Berlin of Saukville, Jason Berlin of Waldo, and Jodi (Trevor) Pieper of Plymouth. He was a proud grandfather to Brayden and Mackenzie Berlin, Cooper and Riley Berlin, and Payton Pieper.
After many years together he married Linda Brill on April 19, 2008, in Jamaica. Together they enjoyed the companionship of their beloved fur babies, Sophie "Chuck" and Max. Through his marriage to Linda, Carl gained a loving extended family, including his stepsons, Shannon (Cindy) Brill of Oostburg and Nathan Brill of Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren Maddie Brill, Lizzie (Michael) Navis, and Jonathon Brill; Laynee Hansen; and Kloae and Kamryn Brill.
Carl dedicated time to serving his community as a member of the Sheboygan Falls Fire Department. He was also well known for bartending at various establishments throughout Sheboygan Falls, where he enjoyed meeting people, sharing stories, and making lifelong friendships. Carl loved preparing his famous spaghetti for family gatherings and could often be found sharing a drink, a laugh, and good conversation with friends in downtown Sheboygan Falls.
He is further survived by his brother, Mark "Sugar Bear" (Linda) Berlin; sister-in-law, Marilyn Berlin; his nephew, Christopher (Rachel) Berlin of Kohler; his nieces, Erin Berlin and Jennifer (Patrick) Lorenz, both of Sheboygan Falls; and special friends Chris and Sue Reichelt.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl F. and Lydia Berlin; his beloved wife, Linda Brill; his brother, Tom Berlin; and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Berlin.
