Carol Klarman

Just in time to sing in the Christmas choir, Carol A. Klarman passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Savior on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was 71 years old. Carol was born December 7, 1949, the daughter of Alfred and Angeline (nee Huibregtse) Eernisse. She graduated from Oostburg High School in 1968, and went on to study at UW LaCrosse. On April 7, 1984, she was united in marriage with Robert Klarman. He preceded her in death in 2006.For many years, Carol worked in the Sheboygan County Clerk of Courts office.A member of First Reformed Church in Oostburg, Carol was a senior choir member, part of the Eernisse Circle Bible Study, and involved with Serving Hearts. Music and singing were a large part of her life, and she loved watching movies, playing dominos with friends, and many travel adventures with her niece, Susan Wiech. Carol was a classy, elegant lady who was always loving and giving. Carol is survived by her sister Faye Mentink of Oostburg, brother David P. (Debi) Eernisse of TX, many adoring nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents Alfred and Angeline, sister Mary Ellen (John) Humke and brother-in-law Norman Mentink. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at First Reformed Church in Oostburg with Rev. Brian Taylor officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Carol will be laid to rest beside Robert at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Reformed Church Choir.The Wenig Funeral Home of Oostburg (920-564-2771) is honored to be serving the family.
