Carol Ann Wieberdink

Carol Ann Wieberdink, 77, of Cedar Grove went home to her Lord and Savior on March 21st, 2026.

Carol was born to Donald and Jean (Lensink) Harmelink on June 4, 1948. She attended Westside one-room school through 4th grade and finished grade school at Cedar Grove Elementary. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1966 and went on to work at Asgrow Seed Co followed by Southwest State Bank in Sheboygan, and Musebeck Shoe Co in Cedar Grove. Carol married Robert Wilterdink on October 5, 1968, and separated 20 years later.

Carol miscarried a baby at 2 and ½ months in January of 1970. On January 18, 1972, her daughter, Kerry Jean Wilterdink was born. Her son, Daniel Robert Wilterdink was born on July 23, 1973. Carol worked various part-time jobs while being a devoted mother and wife and while caring for animals on their hobby farm in Gibbsville. Her jobs included Calumet Dutch Packing Co in Cedar Grove, apple picking at Wendt’s Orchard, house cleaning, Oostburg Bakery and CNA at Pine Haven. At the age of 40, Carol earned her associate degree in Nursing in 1992 and went on to work as an RN at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, Valley View Medical Center, Visiting Nurses Assoc., Sharon S. Richardson Hospice (SRH), and Cedar Grove Clinic before retiring in September of 2011. Hospice care was a passion for her and she continued to work casually for SRH until 2014.

Carol was united in marriage to David Wieberdink on April 4, 1998, with whom she spent her last 30 years enjoying her grandchildren, playing piano for Pine Haven Men’s Chorus, traveling, gardening and attending local concerts. She also volunteered for Anchor of Hope and Pine Haven and had volunteered throughout her life as an organist and pianist.
