Christine Elizabeth "Pixie" Penner

Christine Elizabeth “Pixie” Penner passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Beloved sister of Patricia Penner, (John Newell), Deborah Essenburg, Marcia Penner, Robert Todd Penner, (Sonja) and Carl Penner, (Jonni). Cherished aunt of Christopher Pax, Julia Van Dinter, Alexandra and Katherine Essenburg. Bobby Penner, and Melanie Penner.

Loving great aunt to Sophia and William Van Dinter and Olivia Pax. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth “Breezy” Penner, nephew Calvin Penner, and sister, Susan Penner. She will be missed by former spouse, Brode Lockbram, and countless friends and coworkers.

Pixie worked for 45 years as a tireless and talented surgical tech at several Milwaukee hospitals including the old County Hospital and Columbia Hospital. She later moved to New Mexico and worked several more years there before returning to Wisconsin to retire near Oostburg.

Pixie was happiest surrounded by her family or in the North Woods, swimming in her beloved Pallette Lake. With her warm smile, big heart, and boisterous laugh, Pixie will be remembered lovingly by all whose lives she touched.
