Craig Underhill

Craig William Underhill, 74, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Sheboygan Area Health Services.

Craig was born on February 1, 1948, in Sheboygan, WI to Charles and Carol (Gottsacker) Underhill. He was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School Class of 1966.

On April 26, 1969, Craig married Arlene Lauer. They were happily married for 49-1/2 years.

Craig served his Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship at Plymouth Die Mold and enjoyed working in the trade for several premier shops in the Sheboygan area until retiring in 2009. Craig and his father Charles owned and operated Underhill Marine in Sheboygan for over 25 years.

Craig was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and served as an usher for several years. He was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and served in various volunteer and leadership offices for over 25 years while also teaching Wisconsin DNR safe boating courses to over 600 young adults. He enjoyed fishing, boating, watching TV, and most of all spending time with many friends and family.

Craig is survived by his brother, Chris (Millie) Underhill; brother, Cary (Carolyn) Underhill; sister, Cindy (Mike) McDade; sister-in-law, Florence Petrauski; two nephews, Nathan (Lauren) Underhill, Shaun McDade; seven nieces, Lisa (Daniel) Key, Catherine (Dan) Thole, Heather McDade, Angela McDade, Jennifer (Joe) Nelson, Denise (David) Fullerton, Valerie Petrauski; One Uncle Gene Gottsacker and other relatives and friends

Craig was preceded in death by his father Charles William Underhill; mother Carol Joyce Underhill; wife Arlene Laura Underhill and brother-in-law, Bob Lauer.

A funeral service to celebrate Craig's life will be held at 11:30 on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Father Jonathon Schmeckel officiating. Entombment will take place at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.

Relatives and friends may greet the family at Blessed Trinity Parish on Saturday from 10:30AM-11:30AM.

A memorial fund is being established in his name for St. Jude Children Cancer Research.
