Daniel Abernathy

Daniel LaShawn Abernathy, 38, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2019.Daniel was born at 5:25 am on Saturday, February 21, 1981, in Milwaukee, WI to Crystal (Abernathy) Becknell. He attended Greenfield High School and Pulaski High School. Daniel was employed at Yaskawa for many years as a Production Supervisor.He was enrolled in part time college courses to improve himself over the last many years. Daniel strived to improve himself in school and with various books. He loved do-it-yourself projects. He enjoyed chess, traveling, photography, hiking, kayaking, working on his car and cooking. However, what mattered most to Daniel were the individual relationships with his family and friends. Daniel is survived by his parents, Crystal and Brock Becknell; brother, Eric (Andrea) Graf; sister, Tea (DJ) Graf; grandparents, Roger and Lyn Becknell and Bob and Veles Graf; step-father, Wayne Graf; cousins, Kayla, Darian and Suzy; aunts and uncles, Cathy, Gloria, Troy, Jimmy and Emma; great aunts and uncle, Elvira, Emma, Van and Eunice; and many other extended family and friends.Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Catherine Dixon; and aunt, Carrie Lynn Dixon.A funeral service to celebrate Daniel's life will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Paradise Memorial Funeral Home (7625 W Appleton Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53222) in Milwaukee.Relatives and friends may greet the family at Paradise Memorial Funeral Home in Milwaukee on Thursday, October 31 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
