David Thomas Kwiatkowski Sr., 74, of Gibbsville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center.
Dave was born on July 10, 1947 to Joseph and Beatrice (Trombley) Sindone. He was united in marriage to Barbara Whipple on May 9, 1969 in Michigan. Dave was employed at Werner Homes as a lead carpenter for 30 years.
Dave was a member of Gibbsville Reformed Church, where he served as elder, deacon, Bible class teacher, and Sunday school teacher. He was also a member of Pine Haven Men’s Choir, Habitat for Humanity, and served on mission trips for many years. Dave was a mentor and encourager to many in the area dealing with alcohol dependence. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, singing, bowling, and photography.
Dave is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barb; children, David (Gina) Kwiatkowski Jr. of Oostburg, Dawn (Dean) Giese of Adell, Joseph (Kim Senglaub) Kwiatkowski of Oostburg, Crystal (Casey) Flunker of Plymouth, John Kwiatkowski of California, Daniel Kwiatkowski of Colorado; 8 grandchildren, Ryan and Nicole Giese, Julia and Brandon Kwiatkowski, Wyatt Kwiatkowski, Ashton Debbink, Jayna and Levi Flunker. He is further survived by his siblings, Veronica Cabble, Bernard (Marianne) Kwiatkowski, Diane (John) Pentowski, Cindy Sindone, Beatrice (Greg) Hill, Joseph (special friend Julie) Sindone, all of Michigan; brother-in-law, John (April) Whipple of Michigan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Dave is preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Beatrice; sister, Christine (Richard) Hogle; infant sister, Crystal Sindone; brother-in-law, Robert Cabble. A memorial service for Dave will be held at Gibbsville Reformed Church on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 12:00pm. Masks and social distancing are appreciated.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at church from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Memorial donations can be made in Dave's name.
