Earl James Voskuil, 81, of Oostburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Earl was born on March 17, 1944, to Austin and Lois (Hilbelink) Voskuil in Sheboygan. He graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1958 before continuing on to Lakeland College, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business in 1968.
On January 19,1963, Earl was united in marriage to Marilyn Nyenhuis in Cedar Grove.
Earl was a member of Bethel OPC in Oostburg, where he was a former elder, deacon, and treasurer. He was an avid fisherman and was involved in the Oostburg Boy Scouts, serving as treasurer for many years. Earl prepared taxes for 50 years and was a vintage farm collector with his brother, Howard.
Earl is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Penny (Mark) Bolf; sons, Steve (Colette) Voskuil, Jeffery (Noemy) Voskuil, Chad (Patti) Voskuil; grandchildren: Jordan (Becky) Voskuil, Nick (Emily) Voskuil, Ryan Voskuil, Keagan and Max Bolf, William, Daniela, and Aalten Voskuil, Austin and Ella Voskuil; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Caroline Voskuil. He is further survived by his sister, Mary (Ken) Johnson; brothers, Howard (Audrey) Voskuil and Calvin (Jeanine) Voskuil; sisters-in-law, Rogene Bartlett, Judy (LeRoy) Greupink, and Rita Nyenhuis; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Willard (Carol) Voskuil.
A funeral service to celebrate Earl’s life will be held at Bethel OPC on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:00am. He will be laid to rest at Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will take place at church from 9:00am until 10:45am. A livestream of the service can be viewed by visiting youtube.com/@oostburgopc/streams.
Memorials are appreciated in Earl’s name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Campus Life Family Center.
