Eileen Harbin

Sheboygan Falls

Eileen (Burke) Harbin passed away Friday evening, October 1, 2021 at her home in Sheboygan Falls after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was 75 years old.

Eileen was born March 28, 1946 in Brandon, WI, the daughter of James and Iris (nee Gibbons) Burke. After her parents’ death, Eileen moved to Crookston MN to live with her aunt and uncle, graduating from high school in 1964. She went on to study at St. Cloud University, and earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from UW-Madison. For 17 years, Lee worked as a physical education teacher in the Milwaukee Public Schools. Lee had a lifetime love for dance from a very young age, with a gift to perform and entertain. She owned and managed her own dance studio, Encore Dance Studio in the Milwaukee area. Lee enjoyed playing tennis, board games and cooking. She would plan, prepare and entertain friends and business associates of her husband's.

On September 9, 1992 she was united in marriage with Robert Harbin in Phoenix, AZ. The couple lived in Arizona, Washington and Arkansas before settling in Sheboygan Falls in 2010 to be closer to family.

Lee was an avid crafter, who creatively and passionately worked on a piece until it was perfect. She loved traveling around the world with her husband, family and friends, and looked forward to a yearly get together with a group of friends she had since elementary school. She adored children, her family and her pets. She will be remembered for her strong will and determination all through her life.

Lee is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Robert, and children: Debra Sue Jonet of Howards Grove, Vicki Ann (John) Reshke of Sheboygan and Robert L. Harbin of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Patricia Johnson of TN and Susan Burke of TX, nephews including Adrian and Dustin Burke, cousins, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Richard and Galen Burke.

According to Lee’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Brandon House of Worship, 107 E. Washington St. in Brandon. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00AM at the church. A time of fellowship will take place immediately following the service.
