Emma Louise Tipple

Emma Louise Tipple, 86, of Cedar Grove, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center - Sheboygan County.

She was born on May 17, 1939, to Vernon and Dorothy (Reese) Hendrickson. Emma graduated from Phillips High School in 1957 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Emma proudly served as a nurse in the United States Navy for two years, providing care and support to those in need.

Throughout her career, Emma worked with several organizations, including St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan and later at Morningside Health Services.

On December 19, 1964, Emma was united in marriage to Ronald Tipple, with whom she shared 60 happy years. Together, they served in the Peace Corps in Iran. Upon returning, Ron and Emma enjoyed raising their sons in Cedar Grove, where they lived for over 50 years. Emma loved to travel, and together they visited Norway, Sweden, the UK, South Africa, Turkey, Hawaii, and Alaska. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family.

Emma is survived by her loving husband Ron; sons, Kevin Tipple of Madison and Scott (Cathy) Tipple of Sheboygan; grandchildren Alan and Julia; brothers Alan (Billie) Hendrickson and Harry (Jane) Hendrickson; brothers-in-law Bill Tipple and Dave (Marlys) Tipple; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law Robert and Helen Tipple; and many aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

A memorial service for Emma will be held at a later date. Details regarding the service will be shared in the coming weeks.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Aurora Medical Center for their comfort, care, and compassion during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders or the American Red Cross in Emma's name.
