Gary W. Albrecht, age 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Gary was born April 6, 1957, in Plymouth, son of Roland and Wilma (Perronne) Albrecht. After graduating from Sheboygan Falls, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage with Jeanne Schroeder on July 15, 1988, in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
Gary found real joy in painting pictures for Jesus. Gary and Jeanne liked traveling, especially to Disney World. They also liked going out to eat with family and friends. Mostly, they loved doing things with the kids and grandkids.
Gary is survived by his wife, Jeanne; step-daughters, Amy Cook and Jenny (Josh) Gierach; and seven grandchildren, Hannah Bucko and her special friend Kyle Trujillo, Kylie Gierach and her fiancé Eli Trast, Elliott Gierach and his fiancée Allie Neureuther, Carson Gierach and his special friend Kayla Pieper, Aiden Gierach, Tanner Gierach and his special friend Gwen Rau, and Grayson Gierach. He is further survived by sisters, Mary Jane (Jim) Breeden, Ellen (Janis) Runka, Kathy (Peter) Franz, and Sue (Paul) Berceau; brother, David (Bonnie) Albrecht; brothers and sisters-in-law, Diane (Frank) Welcher, Ronald Schroeder, Robert (Darlene) Schroeder, and Missy Schroeder, Keith (Drema) Schwinn, Neil (Sharon) Schwinn, Jeffrey (Kathleen) Schwinn, Ramona (Larry) Ramey, and Suzanne Majerus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Charles, and sister-in-law, Emmy Albrecht; his brother-in-law, Frederick Schroeder Jr.; one niece, Theresa Franz; father-in-law, Fredrick Schroeder Sr.; mother-in-law, Lorraine Schroeder; and step-mother-in-law, Twilight Schroeder.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, December 19, 2026, at 3:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Milwaukee VA Fisher House.
