Harold D. Ottman passed away at age 86 on Sunday morning February 19th, 2023 at his home in Sheboygan Falls, WI. He had his children at his side.

Harold was born August 5, 1936 in Oshkosh, WI. He was the son of Clinton and Florence (Yagler) Ottman.

As a 44 year employee of Kohler Company, Harold worked in the enamel shop for 20 plus years and later became a foreman in the whirlpool - cast iron division. He retired in 1999 as a proud member of the Quarter Century Club.

Harold was especially proud of his 50+ year membership with the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department with over 30 years of active service.

In his retirement enjoyed farming and landscaping. He was an avid outdoorsman. Harold loved fishing, hunting, and cutting firewood. He worked hard laying sod and helping with masonry work. Additionally, he was a shareholder for the Sheboygan County Fair Association. And he also worked for the fair for approximately 45 years.

Harold was very social. He loved telling stories. And he especially loved playing cribbage and sheepshead with family and friends, and getting together with his neighbors.

On May 28th, 1955 Harold was united in marriage to Audrey Lloyd at St Michael’s in Berlin, WI. She preceded him in death in 1957. On October 5th, 1957 he was united in marriage to Elvera Abel at St. Michael’s in Berlin WI.

Harold is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elvera and their three sons; Steven (Donna) Ottman, James (Nancy) Ottman and Darryl (Brenda) Ottman, all of Sheboygan Falls and daughter Lynette Lammers of Gibbsville. He is further survived by grandchildren: Dylan (Katie) Ottman, Derek (Sarah) Ottman, Clayton Ottman, Morgan (Mickey) Moore, Brett (Jessica) Lammers, and Bryan (Courtney) Lammers; also six great grandchildren: Sedona, Liberty, Trace, Zander, Griffin, and Miles; sister Donna (Robert) Petit of Berlin; brother Raymond (Shirley) Ottman of Sheboygan Falls, brothers-in-law Donald Becker of Eldorado, Ronald Naparalla Sr of Fremont, sisters-in-law Nancy Seaman of Almond and Adeline Abel of Berlin; along with many nieces and nephews (Godchildren).

He is preceded in death by his wife Audrey, Sisters; Mary Malnory, Blanche (Clem) Spritka, Delores Becker, and Sharon Naparalla: brothers Richard Ottman, Nobert (Theresa) Ottman, Norman “Peanuts” (Doreen) Ottman and brother-in-law Marlin Abel.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, February 24, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 730 Cty Hwy PPP in Sheboygan Falls. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10:00AM-1:00PM. He will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
