Hazel Sejba

Hazel Marie Sejba, 95, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Bella Terra in Wheeling, IL.

Hazel was born to Charles and Hazel (Rosio) Irish on April 22, 1928, in Antigo. She was united in marriage to Gerald “Bud” Sejba in November of 1946.

Hazel was kind to everyone she met, helpful to anyone in need and could talk your ear off. She could cook like Julia Child, was crafty like Martha, and could dance like Ginger. She never forgot a birthday, kissed the cheeks off her grand and great grand babies, and was a proud mom and loving wife. At the end, her struggle was long, but her faith was incredible. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Jane Jaeger Elsinger of Kenosha; grandchildren, Christopher Jaeger, Aaron (Kristen) Jaeger, Michael (Aubrey) Jaeger; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Dylan, Shane, Hailey, Declan, Silas; sister-in-law, Shirley Irish; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Bud” Sejba; daughter, Kay Sejba; and brothers, Robert, William, Richard, Norman, and Donald Irish.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Reserve Club House (12742 71^st St., Kenosha, WI) on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 4:00pm until 9:00pm. Hazel will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls at a later date.
