Henry C. Bradford III

It is with a heavy heart, we announce the death of Pastor Brad Bradford, the senior pastor of First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin. Henry Crowell Bradford III, 69, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, was welcomed into his Heavenly home on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Brad was born to Henry C. Bradford Jr. and Hattie (Thomas) on January 12, 1957, in Jacksonville, Florida.

He longed to go fishing with his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. Brad adored his grandchildren and loved being their Poppy.

Brad dedicated his life to the ministry above all other things. He lived his life with such grace for other people. Brad would say not to be sad, but that he has simply left us to go to his Father’s side. It was his greatest wish that all the world would come to know the love of the Father through Christ and in that love, find salvation.

He is survived by his wife, Leigh; four sons; twelve grandchildren; and mother. Brad was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service for Pastor Brad will take place at First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 5:00pm.

Brad’s wishes are to be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.

The verse that Pastor Brad proclaimed to the world through his life was Galatians 2:20. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
