Ian James Ryan, age 40, of Sheboygan, WI, passed away unexpectedly on February 20th, 2023.

Ian was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 3rd, 1982, to Patrick Ryan and Shannon (Robert) Diehls. When Ian was born, he broke the mold. Ian grew up in Sheboygan, WI where he enjoyed playing with other kids in the neighborhood when not playing with his football or hockey team. If he wasn’t playing, watching sports was a favorite pastime of his. He particularly enjoyed cheering on the Yankees, Brewers, and the Bulls among many others. Ian graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 2001. On March 26th, 2016, he married Breanna Peterson.

Ian found his love and passion for music at a young age when he and his two best friends, Sergio and Mikey B, started their band, Bliss, in middle school. Ian, AKA Scarface Scrappy, later became a part of the band Shadowcastaz with Nick, AKA Jesto, and Mikey B. Ian was also a member of the hip hop group known as Wicked Wisconsin, based out of Milwaukee, during his music career. They opened shows for numerous performers including Tech N9ne, Twiztid, and others. Ian always looked forward to performing music for friends and family. Ian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ian is survived by his wife Breanna Ryan; his children Alexis Ryan of Grafton, Collier, Keegan, and Malyena Ryan, Elvina and Jack Blankenship. His parents Patrick Ryan (Cathy Klein Gohr) of Sheboygan Falls, Shannon (Robert) Diehls of Sheboygan, his sister Errin (Chad) Vivian of Linden, his brother Justin Ryan of Sheboygan Falls. His paternal grandmother Donna Wagner of Portage and maternal grandmother Ellen Brobst of Necedah along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Ian was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Kenneth Ryan and maternal grandfather Dale Brobst.

A Celebration of Ian’s life will be held on Saturday March 11th, 2023, from 1pm to 3pm at Chris & Sue’s Supper Club, W3820 County Rd. C, Plymouth, WI 53073.
