Iness Trotter

Iness L. Trotter, formerly of Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 91 years old.  Iness was born February 6, 1929 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of James and Olive (nee Peters) Gillespie. She attended Effingham Public Schools, and  graduated from Proviso Township High School in Maywood, IL.  On June 6, 1949, she was united in marriage with Donald Trotter in Maywood, IL. Iness worked several jobs in her lifetime, which included computer operator for Nabisco Brands She retired in 1986 after 14 years. Iness was a member of Grace UCC in Kohler, and enjoyed gardening. Iness is survived by her husband of 71 years, Donald and their children: Michael Trotter of Kohler and Sandra (Jim) Huenink of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Christopher (Angela), Nathan and Matthew (Elizabeth) Huenink; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters and 4 brothers. In accordance with Iness' wishes, a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.  The Wenig Funeral Home - Sheboygan Falls (920-467-3431) is honored to be serving the Trotter family.
