Infant Mentink

Infant Tessa Helen Mentink of Oostburg was stillborn on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at St. Mary Hospital in Milwaukee. Tessa is the daughter of Jaycob and Marisa (VanMaaren) Mentink. She is also survived by her grandparents, Rick and Jane (Vandenberg) VanMaaren of Gibbsville, Jay and Sue (Veldboom) Mentink of Oostburg; great grandparents, Richard and Sarah VanMaaren of Kalamazoo, MI, Donald Vandenberg of Holland, MI, Eleanor Mentink and Gordon and Helen Veldboom, of Oostburg. Tess is also survived by aunts, and uncles. Tessa was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Helen Vandenberg, and her great grandfather, Stuart Mentink. A service to celebrate Tessa's life will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Gibbsville Reformed Church with the Rev. John Ornee officiating. Burial will take place at Oostburg Cemetery in the Town of Holland. Friends and family may gather at the Gibbsville Reformed Church on Thursday from 4-6 pm. A memorial fund is being established in her memory for the Gibbsville Reformed Church.
