James “Jim” Thomas Berger
James “Jim” Thomas Berger, lovingly known by many as “Tucker” and “Jimmy,” passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on November 7, 1941, to Jesse and LaVella Berger, who preceded him in death.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Kathie Berger (Stockinger); his children, Tiffanie Kinder and Brandon Berger; Brandon’s wife, Jeryl Berger (Grecian); his grandchildren, Mason, Lauren, Ashleigh, Kayla, and Jessa; and his beloved dog, Lambeau.
Jim was a man who loved to live and truly lived life to the fullest. In his youth, he was a great dancer, and throughout his life he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with the people he loved. He also loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He retired from Kohler Company and spent his retirement years surrounded by wonderful friends, family, and plenty of time on the golf course.
His smile was contagious, his sense of humor was unforgettable, and he had a way of making everyone around him laugh. Jim could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, his generosity, and the joy he brought into the lives of those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Odyssey Fun Center (100 Hamann Drive in Sheboygan Falls) from 1:00-4:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.
The family asks that you honor Jim by sharing a laugh, helping a friend, cheering on the Packers or Brewers, or spending a day on the golf course in his memory.
