Jerome “Jerry” Frank Schleicher, 97, of Sheboygan Falls, went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Pine Haven Christian Communities.
Jerome was born on April 24, 1928, to Frank and Josephine (Weiers) Schleicher in Brillion. He graduated from Oostburg High School in 1946. Jerome served his country in the US Army from 1950-1952.
On June 14, 1955, Jerome was united in marriage to Evelyn Buechel at St. Charles Church in Charlesburg.
Jerome worked as a lab technician at Kohler Company for 38 years until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed part time farming and raising hogs.
Jerome was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls, where he served on the Bereavement Committee, church cleaning, and was a Lector. He and Evelyn were longtime volunteers at St. Vincent De Paul Society of Sheboygan. He enjoyed polka dancing, woodworking, playing cards, and helping his family.
Jerome is survived by his wife of 70 years, Evelyn; daughters: Mary Ann (John) Gerry, Jeanne (Rod) Tremelling; sons: Ronald (Debbie) Schleicher, Gary (Cherri) Schleicher, Ken (Becky) Schleicher, Jeffrey (Erika) Schleicher; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two young sisters, sister Angeline (Jacob) Mallinger, and brothers: Leo (Kathryn) Schleicher, Anthony (Anna) Schleicher, and Ralph (Mary Alice) Schleicher.
A memorial mass will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00am. Burial will take place at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at church on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of mass.
Memorials are appreciated in Jerome’s name to St. Vincent de Paul Society of Sheboygan or Blessed Trinity Parish.
