Jill Wolfe

August 29, 1939 — January 23, 2021

At the age of 81, Jill passed away on Saturday January 23rd, 2021 at home in Sheboygan Falls surrounded by family.  Jill was born on August 29th,1939 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hoffman. Due to the tragic loss of her parents at age 3, she was raised by Grandparents Wallace and Theresa Hoffman.  Jill was a 1957 graduate of Green Bay West High School  On November 28, 1959 Jill married the love of her life of 57 years, Kenneth Wolfe. Following the birth of Ken JR., Jill and Ken moved to Colorado Springs, CO where Ken was stationed with the US Army.   In 1962 Mark was born. In 1963 they returned to Green Bay, WI  and welcomed their daughter Tammy. In 1967 they  moved to their lifelong home on Circle Drive, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.  Jill worked 29 years at Saint Mary's Hospital in multiple capacities.  She also was employed at Foster and Smith until retirement. Jill enjoyed watching her husband play fastpitch softball, the Brewers, Badgers and  the Green Bay Packers including attendance at  the Ice Bowl. When her grandchildren were young, she attended their sporting events, concerts and graduations. Since grandchildren were the center of her life, Jill was inclined to offer advice frequently.  In her younger days, Jill enjoyed attending the Hodag Country Festival,  participating in the annual Eckert Easter Egg Hunt and entertaining her life long, dear friends at her home and cottage on Enterprise Lake. Going to the Casino,playing card games and reading were favorite pastimes.  Friends were always welcomed for her famous chicken or rib dinners at the Wolfe household .  During her 3 year stay In Sheboygan Falls, she was blessed to have several Ison family friends stop over to visit her, check in on Regi and drop off special treats. Jill is survived by 3 children Ken (Deb) Wolfe Jr. of Wausau Wisconsin, Mark (Lisa) Wolfe of West DePere, Wisconsin and Tammy (Scott) Ison Sheboygan Falls Wisconsin. : Six grandchildren - Sara, Andrew, Danielle, Kendra, Kaleb, and Nolan, in addition, her special pet companion Regi.  3 sister- in- laws: Susan (Ralph) Pace, Linda(Dean) Brooks, and Donna(Eddie)Wold. She is further survived by a nephew, nieces and other extended family, dear friends Helen, Bev, Tom/Barb,Twin Pines friends, Bill and Mary's friends, Green Bay special friends, work friends and childhood friend Helen (Kniskern) Foss.She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Wolfe, her parents and grandparents, Frank and Esther Wolfe, Marie and Ken Nohr, brother-in-law Francis Wolfe and several cherished friends.Due to COVID-19,  a memorial service for Jill will be planned by the family at a later date to CELEBRATE her life. A special thank you to Dr Karen Alexander/Heidi, Preceptor Health Care, Nurse Jessica for all your special care, and Cindy for giving your days to care and read with her and Regi.
