Joyce D. Kuhlow

Joyce D. Kuhlow, 77, of Hingham, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Joyce was born to Lloyd and Delores (Veldman) Hoitink in Sheboygan on September 25, 1946. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1964.

She volunteered at the UW Sheboygan Extension and was a member of the Sheboygan County Homemakers group for 40 years and a board member of the Wisconsin Association for Home and Community Education, Inc for 20 years.

Joyce enjoyed bringing her grandchildren to nursing homes to make the residents smile. She also loved making others smile, through visiting church members, sending cards, and crocheting blankets for newborn babies. She enjoyed collecting bells from all her vacations and feeding the birds. Joyce always had a smile on her face and enjoyed spending time and playing cards with her family and church family. Together, Joyce and Allen loved going on trips, family vacations, and camping. They enjoyed being foster parents for many years.
