Judith Ann Lilyquist, 80, of Sheboygan, was promoted to Glory on Friday, April 24, 2026, at her home.
Judy was born to Jacob and Esther (Ter Maat) Caljouw on January 22,1946 in Sheboygan. She was united in marriage to Russell Lilyquist on March 3, 1962. Together they shared 64 years.
Judy was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Sheboygan and was a part of many Bible Study groups throughout her life. She enjoyed being a part of Life Groups at Crossroads over the years.
Judy learned to fish from her dad at a young age and carried on that love to this day. She enjoyed interior decorating, crafting, and playing games with her family. She loved taking trips to Door County and Branson, Missouri and enjoyed planning the yearly family weekend in Door County over Memorial Day weekend. Judy lived with rheumatoid arthritis from the age of 26 and no one ever heard her complain. Judy loved her family more than anything, along with their dog, Cody.
Judy is survived by her husband, Russ; children: Jody (Michael) Clark, Vicky (Scott) Kruschke, Chad (Terri) Lilyquist, Brett (Tricia) Lilyquist; grandchildren: Luke Clark, Jacob (Rachel) Clark, Nathan (Jules) Clark, Jessica (Shawn) Reilly, Shilah (Ben) Pagel, Micah Lilyquist, and Caleb Lilyquist; and great-grandchildren: Jade Allen, Abby Reilly, Elijah Pagel, and Jackson Pagel. She is further survived by her brother, Ellsworth “EJ” Caljouw; brothers-in-law, Earl (Carol) Lilyquist, Brian (Barbara) Lilyquist, Rendy (Sue) Lilyquist, Stuart Merrit; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Esther; parents-in-law, Gerald and Catherine Lilyquist; sisters: Beatrice (Gordon) Wilterdink, Marilyn (Gene) Charles, Carolyn (Burt) Ver Straate; and siblings-in-law: Joel (Joan) Lilyquist, Lynelle Merrit.
A funeral service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at Crossroads Community Church on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:00pm. Visitation will be held at church from 11:00am until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Judy’s name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Campus Life.
Judy’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to Lynn and Lanna, who made her life more enjoyable.
