Karen Marie Williams, 64, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on February 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Karen was born on August 28, 1961, to Lawrence and Carol Carter in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1979. On September 29, 1979, she married Mark Williams at Our Lady of Peace in Marshfield, WI and together they shared 46 years of marriage. Over the years, she's worked in various capacities, most recently at Gingham Girls, serving in a role she loved as office manager until her illness in 2025.
With a fiery spirit and a heart full of compassion, you could find Karen busy about the kitchen cooking and baking family recipes for guests - ensuring no one left hungry and often noting, “Have you eaten?”. She enjoyed regular trips up to Oneida for Bingo with friends and Mark, shopping at her favorite local clothing stores, and unwinding with her ION network crime shows. Her greatest joy however, was raising her four beloved children: Tyler, Ryan, Craig, and Emily, and watching her dear granddaughters grow. Karen was the backbone of the family, often gathering others and graciously hosting those she appreciated most with her stories, meals, and her fierce love.
Karen is survived by her husband, Mark; her sons, Ryan and Craig (Autumn); daughter Emily; her granddaughters, Adrienne Williams and Wynell Williams; father, Lawrence (Rosie) Carter; father-in-law, Donald Williams; sisters, Kate (Mike) Lazinski, Colleen (Scott) Seemann; brother, Mike (Liz) Carter; brothers-in-law; Mike Williams, Al Williams, Steve Williams, Jerry (Kim) Williams, Paul (Dawn) Williams, Bob (Krisan) Williams; sister-in-law, Lisa Baumgartner. She is preceded in death by her son, Tyler; mother, Carol (Dave) Saeger; and mother-in-law, Virginia Williams.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who have stepped in over the past months at Dr. Bettag's office, Sharon S Richardson Hospice Center, and at home. They went above and beyond to ensure Karen and family were well-cared for from cooking meals, taking photographs, coming to visit, and just being together.
