Kathleen "Kelly" Murphy

Kathleen “Kelly” Murphy, age 68, of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026.

Kelly was born December 17, 1957 in Winona, MN, the daughter of William and Eugenia (McClanathan) Ferguson. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1976.

On April 3, 1976, she was united in marriage with William “Bill” Murphy. The couple celebrated 50 years together this year.

Kelly’s family was at the heart of her life. She loved spending time with those she held dear, traveling, crafting, and going out to eat. She especially cherished the annual birthday dinner—a treasured tradition that brought her family together to celebrate and make memories.

Kelly is lovingly remembered by her husband, William “Bill” Murphy; her children, Monica (BJ) Diestler and Matthew (Brooke) Murphy; her grandchildren, Brianna, Becca, Zachary, Vanessa, Logan, Braeden, and Dawson; her three loving sisters, Ruth (Clifford) Preston, Patty (Charles) Buchmiller, and Mary Berry; sister-in-law Debbie Ferguson; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Ferguson.

She will be deeply missed and remembered with love. The moments shared around the dinner table, on family travels, and in everyday life will remain cherished memories for those who knew and loved her.

A Time of Gathering will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 4-7PM at Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway in Sheboygan Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
