Larry W. Herman, 60, of 692 River Oaks Dr., Sheboygan Falls, died at his home on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from complications of diabetes. Larry was born October 2, 1946 in Sheboygan, the son of Beatrice (Harms) Long and the late William Herman. He was a 1965 graduate of Kohler High School. Larry married Carol Jean Andre on March 23, 1968 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler. Larry was employed at Kohler Company as a foreman for 41 years before retiring in November, 2006. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. Larry was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club and the Sheboygan/Plymouth Unit of Army Reserves. He served as Scout Master for the Kohler Boy Scout Troop, leading both sons to Eagle Scout. He enjoyed bowling, detailing cars, traveling to the Caribbean, boating and fishing trips to Northern Wisconsin. He was the beloved husband of Carol; loving father of: 2 sons, Bradley J. (Carrie) Herman of Lock Haven, Penn., Gregory W. Herman of Chicago, Ill. two step-grandchildren, Zackery and Zander. Other survivors include a sister, Lynn Ann Ramsey of Sheboygan; a brother, Gary Herman of Sheboygan; his mother, Beatrice Long of Sheboygan, father-in-law, Elwin Andre of Sheboygan Falls; brother-in-law, David Krepsky of Sheboygan, brother-in-law, Stanley (Linda) Andre of Sheboygan Falls; sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Roger) Wolff of Sheboygan Falls and Cheryl (Brian) Burton of Cleveland, and his dog, Mic. He was preceded in death by his father, mother-in-law, Thecla Andre; sister-in-law, Dianne Krepsky, and grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish, with the Rev. Robert Lotz, as celebrant. Private graveside services will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church, 327 Giddings Ave., Sheboygan Falls, on Friday, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of services.
