Leon G. Lauer

Leon G. Lauer, 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in Green Bay after a long illness.

Leon was born to Cyril and Lena (Schaap) Lauer on January 21, 1949, in Sheboygan Falls. After graduating from Sheboygan Falls High School, Leon became a barber and worked for many years in Green Bay. He also was a teacher in the Vocational Education System.

Leon is survived by his sister, Rosemary Fenner and also by several nieces and nephews: Heidi Fenner; Christine (James) Kroeplien, Allen (Debra) Fenner, Edward (Christine) Lauer, Rina (Jeff) Zorn, and Teresa Lauer. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald Lauer, and brother-in-law Leroy Fenner.

A memorial mass will be held for Leon at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 11:00am. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls at a later date.

Relatives and friends may greet the family from 10:00am until the time of mass.
