On January 14, 1961, Leroy was united in marriage to Judy Nyenhuis, whom he shared 65 years of marriage, and he was a devoted father to Timothy (Melissa) Greupink, Scott (Christine) Greupink, Heidi (Daniel) Bizub, Vickie (Timothy) Boehnlein, and Rebekah (Timothy) Taylor.
He was a proud grandfather to Jason Sohm, Kali (Mark) Pentler, Candace (Philip) Rosenbohm, Kaitlyn (Isaac) Seibold, Brent Greupink, Jon Greupink, Jesse Bizub, Travis Bizub, Brooklyn Bizub, Michael Bizub, Andreas Boehnlein, Kira Boehnlein, Reilyn Boehnlein, Jake Taylor, and Micalah Taylor, and a cherished great-grandfather to Oliver, Dawson, Ava, Liam, Xiyah and Braylen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mabel Greupink; his brother, Duane; and his sister, Karen.
Leroy was hardworking, spending most of his life as a foundry worker and many years delivering the Sheboygan Press to residents of Oostburg.
Leroy will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. He was kind and gentle, with a quick wit, a loving heart and a strong faith that guided his life. His greatest legacy was the family he loved so deeply, the example he set, and the memories that will continue to be treasured by those closest to him.
