Linda L. Manier

Linda Manier, 63, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a battle with lymphoma.

Linda was born August 13, 1959 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Wayne and Beverly (nee Mathis) Sohr. She grew up in Sheboygan Falls, graduating from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1977.

For over 15 years, Linda worked at Boston Store as a sales manager. She especially enjoyed her time spent there decorating trees at Christmas time.

On May 27, 1994, she was united in marriage with Thomas Manier in Sheboygan. The two were married 26 years before he passed in 2020.

Linda was a member of the St. Dominic Catholic Church. She loved bird watching, gardening, spontaneous shopping trips with her daughter, Christmas with her family, and above all, time spent with her granddaughter Mabel.

Linda is survived by her children: Dakota Manier and Erica (significant other Tyler Wilson) Manier, both of Sheboygan; granddaughter Mabel Wilson; mother Beverly Sohr; brother Tom (Roxann) Sohr; Godmother and Aunt Virginia Lemmens; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas, father Wayne Sohr and aunt Mary Mathis.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway in Sheboygan Falls. All are welcome to view a livestream of the service on Linda’s obituary at wenigfh.com . The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00-2:00PM. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Thomas.
