Lisa Mehan, 49, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away at St. Nicholas Hospital after a brief, unexpected illness with her family by her side.
Lisa was born to Daniel and Carla (Hupf) Riviers on September 4, 1974, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and was a 1992 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. She worked at Bemis Manufacturing for over 30 years until recently changing her profession where she worked at Sheboygan County Health and Human Services – a job she found great joy and satisfaction in.
Lisa was caring, supportive, and creative. She enjoyed baking and cooking, puzzles, reading, diamond painting, uranium glass collecting, making blankets, and spending time outside. Lisa was always happiest when she was helping others, a trait that made her such a remarkable person.
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Taylor Mehan (fiancé, Chris Schelfhout); parents, Daniel and Carla Riviers; boyfriend, Kris Mertes; granddaughter, Willow Engeldinger; cousin and best friend, Gina Mackic; aunts, Rita Ziolkowski, Peggy (Ricky) Weber; uncles, Ronald Roethel, great-aunts, Virginia Feldman, Betty Sabo; and a beloved dog, Bella. She is further survived by other family and many dear friends. Additionally, Lisa was looking forward to welcoming another grandbaby in September.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Theodore & Joyce Riviers, and Pat & Virginia Hupf; aunts, Karen Riviers and Wanda Riviers; uncles, Raymond Hupf, Patrick (Cheryl) Hupf, Eugene Ziolkowski; and cousin, Brian Behr.
