Matthew James Fair, 49, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Matthew was born on January 26, 1971, in Superior, WI, to Ronald and Patricia (Davis) Fair and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. He was a disabled veteran, having served in the Army in his younger years. He also graduated from Lakeshore Technical College with a degree in technology. Matthew enjoyed many different things. He always enjoyed doing things outdoors and being outside, whether it be relaxing or doing activities like metal detecting and disc golfing. He was an avid reader, and spent a lot of his time submerged in his books. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, going out for drinks and getting together for the occasional poker game. Matthew is survived by his two daughters, Natascha Fair and Ivy Fair of Sheboygan; sister, Danelle Jorgensen of Bremerton, WA; three nephews, Brandon (Leo) Feld, Taylor Feld, Cristopher Jorgensen; two nieces, Alexa (Braxton) Decker, Penny Hixson; great-nephew, Bastian Decker, many uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends. Matthew was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Fair and Patricia Carnahan.A celebration of Matthew's life will be held at Evergreen Park in Sheboygan on Sunday, August 16, 2020, at 2:00 pm.Memorial contributions can be made in his name.
