Patricia A. Mersberger

Patricia ‘Pat’ Mersberger age 67 passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, from cancer. She was born May 14,1958 in Sheboygan County, a daughter of Cal and Eileen Tempas.

A degree in Information Technology brought great jobs and great lifelong friends at Eclipse Mfg and Alumaroll Specialty Co., but retirement was like a second life.

Pat loved the earth and loved learning. Drive by her beautiful perennial gardens or the gardens that she and Mike tended at Nourish Farms. Hiking National Parks with Mike and finding a local brew pub was the ‘perfect day’. Those were numerous.

One room was not enough, so an addition on the house fueled her quilting creativity. (Ask Mike and Max how that project went!) Many relatives, friends, and charities have the quilts she made with love.

A passionate reader, there are recorded books left to grandsons, Graham and Brayden. The joy those two brought made her life so bright.

She loved her family so much. Mike was her person from the age of 18, married for 47 years. She always had 50 years in mind, but 47/50 = 94%, and that is a grade of A, right? Bonus points for an amazing enduring love. Being included in her sons’ lives made her so happy. (Who could forget Alpine Valley?) She wanted all those that touched her life, to know how grateful and blessed she was for those friendships and prayers. The prayers always helped.

Pat is survived by her husband, Mike Mersberger, sons Max Mersberger (Alee Zastrow) and Reese (Julia Damrow) Mersberger, and grandsons Graham and Brayden. She is also survived by a sister, Nancy Tempas, a brother, Cary (Lauri) Tempas, in-laws, Phil (Emma) Mersberger, Ed (Judy) Mersberger, Janet (John) McMullen, John (Kris) Mersberger, Don (Maureen) Mersberger, Jacob (Jeanne) Mersberger, Pete (Marilyn) Mersberger, Joanne (Pete) Thede and Paul (Jill) Mersberger and 25 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cal and Eileen Tempas, parents-in-law, John and Agnes Mersberger, and a sister-in-law, Sharon Mersberger

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2025 at Blessed Trinity Parish, Sheboygan Falls where she was a lifelong member. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-12:45PM. Immediately following services, there will be a time of food and fellowship at Nourish Farms, 100 Alfred Miley Way in Sheboygan Falls.
