CEDAR GROVE
Patricia A. Pastucha, formerly of Youngstown, OH and La Crosse, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. She was 74 years old.
Patricia was born September 7, 1951 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Gerald and Anna (Birosak) Pastucha. She graduated in 1969 from Cardinal Mooney High School and went on to study at Youngstown State University. Patricia worked as a transit bus driver for the City of La Crosse for over 15 years. She loved and valued the people around her, sharing joy and kindness with everyone.
An avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan (especially football), Patricia also followed Cleveland sports and the Youngstown State Penguins. She loved talking sports and was known to strike up conversations with complete strangers over it. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening, sewing, and baking specialized birthday cakes for family and friends. Mimi Pat loved attending her grandkids’ sporting events and school activities. With fond childhood memories of Lake Erie, Patricia always felt like she was “home” when she lived near the water.
Patricia is survived by her children: Jill (Brian) Huenink and Mark Grodecki (Jenny Behnke), both of Cedar Grove; grandchildren William, Weston, Carsten and Ruth Huenink; sister-in-law Ann Pastucha; nephew Jay (Kate) Pastucha and family; cousins including Sandy (Steve), Deborah and Judy; cousins and extended family in Slovakia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry Pastucha, and niece Lynn Pastucha.
