Patricia Ann Severson

Patricia "Pat" Severson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on August 6, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on January 18, 1938, in Brooklyn, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn (Krueger) DeRemer.

Pat graduated from Janesville High School in 1955. While raising her family in Sheboygan Falls, she balanced a fulfilling 25-year career at Feldmann Engineering, retiring in 2000.

In 1962, Pat married Al Severson, and together they created a home filled with love and laughter. She was a proud mother to her three children: Chris (Steve) Hellner, Curt (Tami) Severson, and Kari (Tom) Buechel. Her greatest joy came from being an active grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Taylor (Coty Gular) and Carsen (Lindsey) Severson, Patrick and Clinton (Felicia) Hellner, and Grace, Hunter, and Blaise Buechel. She also welcomed her first great-grandchild, Madisyn Hellner, in 2025.

Pat was known for her supportive nature and inability to remain idle. Her motto was “have sleeping bag, will travel,” and she was always ready to help with child care, pet sitting, sewing emergencies or whatever crisis of the day led to a “911 Grandma” or “1-800-Grandma” call. She took great pride in attending her grandchildren’s events and enjoyed gardening, reading and puttering with her puzzles.

Following her wishes, there will be no formal visitation or service. In honor of Pat’s memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sheboygan County Humane Society or the Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library.

Pat's memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
