Pauline A. Dicke, 82, of Sheboygan Falls passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 27, 2025 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Her husband, Donald, greeted her in heaven on what would have been their 50th wedding anniversary.
Pauline was born on June 15, 1943 in Sheboygan to Leonard and Veronica (Janssen) Heilmann. In 1961, she was part of the first graduating class of Sheboygan South High School. Her junior year in high school, she performed her first solo job with her accordion in hand. This led to a 40 year span of making music, 25 of those years with the “Polka Boys” where she grew fond of the trombone player, Donald Dicke.
On December 27, 1975 she was united in marriage to Donald Dicke. For over 40 years, the couple ran businesses, managed daily life, and made countless memories in their love story. Donald passed in 2017.
Pauline was proud to be a farm girl, where she developed a strong work ethic, and helped on the farm throughout the years. She loved tractors and could be seen driving her Farmall in local parades.
Pauline thrived in a busy, active career. A 39 year employee of Bordens, Pauline and Donald also owned Budget Rent a Sign. From 1985-2002, she owned a Precious Moments store, Tiny Treasures, where she added her own personal touch by custom wrapping each item sold. Pauline, always with a smile on her face, could be found at various events, including County Fairs and Maxwell Street Days where she loved helping people find the perfect piece.
Throughout the years, she blessed those around her with her giving spirit and generous heart. Baking and cooking for others was a labor of love that gave Pauline purpose. Her heart was most happy when she was taking care of others; whether she was providing food, gifts or care, she blessed many people throughout her life.
One of her greatest joys later in life, was moving into her condo. The neighbors welcomed her with open arms and they became some of her cherished friends. With heartfelt gratitude, THANK YOU for your caring ways and support in helping her when needed.
Pauline and Donald were members of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls.
Pauline is survived by her longtime, special friend and caregiver, Dawn (Tim) Radue and her children Justin (Erin) Radue and their children Charlotte, Emerson and Oliver; Kaitlin (James) Downey and their children Westley and Jackson. She is further survived by nieces and nephews: Denise Dicke, Derrick Dicke, Dawn Buhler; Danette Mary (Joe) St. Andre, Dwight Dicke and their children and grandchildren; Don’s family: Robert (Elena) Dicke, the late William (Susan) Dicke, Peter (Charlene) Dicke, David Dicke and their children and grandchildren; other extended family and friends including Dennis and Peggy Watson.
