Priscilla Ida Treat

Priscilla Ida Treat, age 92, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.

Priscilla was born on July 31, 1934, in Winter Harbor, Maine, to the late Gilbert Gerrish and Lillian (Hamilton) Gerrish. She graduated as valedictorian of her high school class in Maine in 1952. She met her husband, James Jairus Treat Jr., while working at an ice cream shop. Priscilla later retired from Bemis Manufacturing Company.

For 50 years, Priscilla was a devoted member of Falls Community Church in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, where she was active in missionary work and volunteered her time in service to the church. She had a lifelong love of gardening and flowers, with irises being her favorite. Priscilla also enjoyed shopping, baking, and visiting with friends, and took special pride in teaching her son, Joel, how to cook and bake.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, James Jairus Treat Jr.; her parents; her brothers and sister; and her half-brothers and half-sisters.

She is survived by her children, James Treat, Joel (Janet) Treat, Jennifer Jones, Wayne Treat and Jonathan Treat; grandchildren, Carl, Cizzy, Eric, and Ann; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with Pastor Jeff Cole officiating. She will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery, alongside her husband.
