Rick Allen Schlafke

Rick A. Schlafke, 57, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Rick was born May 23, 1969, in Sheboygan, son of Gene Schlafke and Elizabeth Smazel Schlafke.

Rick enjoyed camping, gambling, and traveling, and especially loved visiting the state parks around Lake Michigan.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother and his mother-in-law, Barb Kaat.

Rick is survived by his wife, Heather (Kaat), of Sheboygan Falls; his father, Gene Schlafke; his brothers, Scott, Lonny (Jessica), Todd, and Robby (Kimberly); nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.

Services will be held by family at a later date.
