Ronald Cobb (66) of Sheboygan, passed away on October 26, 2023 at Froedtert Hospital after a long fight with Leukemia.

 

Born on November 18, 1956, in Midland, MI, to Rev. Tyrus and Alice (Lyons) Cobb, he proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1976 to 1982 after graduating from Sheboygan North High School in 1975.

 

On July 24, 1982, he married Debra Uhthoff, and they spent 41 wonderful years together.

 

Ronald dedicated 43 years of his life to the Kohler Company, retiring in 2019. Outside of work Ron was an active member of his community. He served as a Deacon at Mapledale Baptist Church, the school board president of Cornerstone Christian Academy, and the treasurer of the Adell Sportmen’s Club among many other roles. Ron was passionate about the outdoors, enjoying activities like trapping, fishing, camping, and canoeing. He also wore many other hats as an artist, collector, handyman, and tinkerer.

 

He is survived by his wife Debby, sons Daniel Cobb (Liz Demakos) and Jeremy (Lacey Moericke) Cobb, and grandchildren Charles, Maxwell, and Izzi Cobb. He is also survived by his siblings: Ella Leavens, Janna Haddix, Carol Bub, Arla (Eugene) Klienke, Richard (Donna) Cobb, Betty (Jim) Thompson and Ervin Cobb. He is further survived by his father-in-law Rev. Steven D. (Wilma) Uhthoff; siblings-in-law Sandie (Walter) Lehmann, Sue (Jim) Lefeber and Steve Uhthoff (Janice Wheeler); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 2 PM at Mapledale Baptist Church in Sheboygan. Visitors of the family are also welcome at the church from 11am to 1:45pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mapledale Baptist Church, the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society, or a local sportmen’s club in Ron’s name.
