Ruth M. Schnelle, 83, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Ruth was born on February 1, 1942, to Edward and Ruth (Krueger) Stalter in Sheboygan. She attended Holy Name School and graduated from Central High School in 1960. Ruth worked in various executive secretary roles at Power & Light, Sheboygan County Courthouse, Polarware and LTI, in which she was known for her phenomenal typing speed. Ruth retired from LTI in 1976.
On March 30, 1974, Ruth was united in marriage to Eugene Schnelle in Sheboygan. She cherished their nearly 4 decades of marriage as they shared their love of music, movies, family, and gardening together.
A deeply faithful woman, Ruth was a member of Blessed Trinity, formerly a long-time member at St. Dominic Parish. She loved caring for her grandchildren and attending their activities. Ruth enjoyed gardening in her extensive flower garden, scrapbooking, and watching old movies. She had a love of art, drawing and painting. She had a heart of gold and was always ready to help. Her greatest joy was her role as wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Melissa (Dan) Winter; grandchildren: Noah (special friend Sydney), Mia, and Leia; and brother Edward F. Stalter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene and parents.
A private funeral service has been held.
